JAMES W. PEARSON, JR., ATTORNEY-AT-LAW

MEMBER PA, CA & NJ BAR

James W. Pearson, Jr. (Jim) graduated from Temple University School of Law in 1976 receiving a Juris Doctor (J.D.) Degree.  In 1972, Jim received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) Degree in Business Administration from LaSalle University in Philadelphia, PA.

Jim’s first client was a Credit Union which marked the beginning of his legal year career in serving the needs of Credit Unions.

In 1976, at the request of the his first Credit Union client, Jim developed the Family Legal Care Plan (Plan) which provided easy access to the legal system by offering a “free consultation” and reduced legal fees to all members of the Credit Union and as well as their families.

As demand for legal services increased, throughout the Greater Delaware Valley (GDV) area, Jim began forming the Member Legal Service Network comprised of attorneys with offices in various locations throughout the GDV area.  In 1984 as part of the Plan, Jim began publishing a Newsletter first called “Your Legal Rights” and later Your Family Lawyer which provided members with general information about the law with the goal of allowing members to become more aware of their legal rights to help foster the concept of preventive law.

Jim has been admitted to and granted licenses to practice law in Pennsylvania, 1976, California in 1983, and New Jersey in 1993.
